Amidst the spectacular Coast Mountains
of British Columbia and just 75 miles north of Vancouver lies
Whistler Resort, a charming alpine village and the home of
Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Rising one vertical mile from a
village of award-winning West Coast architecture, the mountains
offer the greatest vertical rise of any ski area in North America,
and its massive high-alpine terrain rivals the major ski resorts
of Europe.
How to get there:
Vancouver is the gateway to Whistler. Just 120 km south of
Whistler, there are numerous non-stop flights to Vancouver from
dozens of domestic and international destinations, with
connections from hundreds of cities worldwide. There are numerous
major car rental companies located at the airport, and there are
public scheduled bus services operating numerous times daily to
Whistler.
